Take your polished concreting skills to the next level

The experienced team at International Building Supply (IBS) know polished concrete. They have access to the industries best suppliers, machinery, sealers, cleaners and equipment. And even more than that, they are only too happy to share their expertise with you in a unique three (3) day training course that shall take you overnight from polished concrete novice to polished concrete professional.

International Building Supply (IBS) vet all the applications from prospective training course participants and only take on individuals who either want to start a new business in polished concreting or increase their skills for application in their existing polished concreting business. As they only have nine spots to fill in each training course they ensure that everyone present is there to learn, contribute and gain the knowledge, information and tools required to make it in the field of polished concreting. The course covers everything from concrete grinding and crack repair with StarSeal Fusion, to densification and food stain resistance with StarSeal PS, to sealing and non-slip coatings.

Course Outline:

Day One- Concrete cutting, grouting and floor repair.

They will demonstrate how to cut to achieve a flat, level floor and how to cut edges, as well as how to grout and repair cracks using Starseal Fusion, a unique grouting system that grouts and repairs the surface to leave no trace of the original crack.

Day Two- Concrete densification.

Learn how to harden, grout and stain-proof floors with the Starseal PS densification method plus our unique FSR (Food Stain Resistance) system, a proven method of densifying and stain-proofing concrete that is 100% green!

Day Two- Sealing concrete.

They will show the best ways to seal a concrete floor using the best surface and impregnated sealers available.

Day Three

Day three involves the completion of the densification process, plus demonstration of surface and impregnated sealing and Tough Grip R11 non-slip solutions.
