Andrea tognon architecture is an italian multidisciplinary firm founded in 2002. the scope of work is diverse, encouraging a development of strategies in communication, branding and transforming spaces. from residences to public buildings, fashion stores and product designs, it draws creativity from an overlapping of fields and professionals. as a testimony to that, the studio presents their latest and unusual chair design.
The iroko concrete chair by andrea tognon is sculpted with clear architectural references. the base is boldly shaped out of concrete while a slightly inclined wooden frame is used as a backrest. hence, a striking contrast of material, color and orientation come to define the furniture.
