Batching - Shovon Ahmed

Shovon Ahmed is a Civil Engineer with over 2 years’ experience in Concrete Technical Support, Concrete Production & Plant management as well as RMS specifications and compliances. He has experience in overseeing production, operational plans, training and safety for building materials company. Increased productivity through leadership and collaborative team environment. Prior to commencing work with Hunter Valley Concrete (HVC) he worked at at Hanson where he delivered concrete in major infrastructure projects such as Northwest Rapid Transport (NRT) and New M5 and managed complex commercial projects in excess of $20 million. In addition to his Bachelor Of Engineering from the University Of Technology in Sydney Shovon has completed the CCAA Concrete Practice Course 2018 Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia

Sales and Operations - Richie Hamson

Richie was with Boral Concrete for 45 years working in quarries, batching and as an area manager in the Hunter Valley. During that time he supervised concrete plants at  Bayswater, Muswellbrook, Singleton and Scone. His experience in producing and delivering concrete is second to none in the Hunter Valley and he is an invaluable asset to the team at Hunter Valley Concrete.

Administration and Operations - Kathryn Hargreaves

Kathryn has years of experience in the management of operating systems within the concrete industry garnered from her time as administration manager with Entire Concrete in the Hunter Valley. During her time their she oversaw the development of quality managament and assurance systems, together with the implementaion of a safety management plan for the group. In addition to an extensive background in the fireld of accounting she has education in CTA Foundations, a Certificate 4 in OHS and a Diploma of OHS

Concrete Consultant - Tim Harrison

Tim has over a decades experience in the field of concrete where he now consults to a number of concrete plants, quarries and mix design organiations both in Australia and overseas. As the former Operations Manager of Entire Concrete in the Hunter Valley and more recently the Founder of online concrete portals including Concrete Btroker and Concretingshop, he consults with Hunter Valley Concrete to ensure the group delivers quality concrete at competitive prices. His technical expertise learned through CCAA courses in concrete practice and concrete technology are valuable inputs to both the production and supply side of the business.
